Residential Aged Care
23 October 2023
Dear Residents, Families and Staff,
Important COVID – 19 Information
Warrina Crescent RACF (Ingle Farm) – Classified as an Outbreak SitePlease be advised that an additional two residents have tested positive for Covid-19 at our Warrina Crescent Residential Aged Care Facility. This brings the total number of current cases to five. The additional Covid-19 cases are located in the Kaye Skehan Wing, Ground Floor.
The residents who are positive are being cared for by our dedicated staff during this time and the primary contact for the residents having tested positive are being contacted individually by our nursing team. While we are an outbreak site, we are implementing the following steps to support visiting in the safest way possible.
- The Abbington Wing, First Floor will have restricted visiting, with one nominated visitor only visiting during the outbreak and that visitor to be in a N95 mask. PPE will be provided at the entrance to the rooms of positive residents for their visitor and must be worn whilst in the room.
- The Kaye Skehan, Ground Floor will have restricted visiting, with one nominated visitor only visiting during the outbreak and that visitor to be in a N95 mask. PPE will be provided at the entrance to the rooms of positive residents for their visitor and must be worn whilst in the room.
- Visiting hours remain between 10am and 12pm or 1pm to 4pm for the entire home.
- Visits remain as normal in the other areas of the home but must be in resident’s rooms, 1.5meters distance maintained and visitors will be asked to wear N95 masks, which we will supply.
- We will continue, for each visitor, to do a rapid antigen test on arrival which our staff will provide.
I can assure you that we have been well prepared for COVID-19 cases within our home, and we have activated our Outbreak Management Plan to support all our residents, families and staff.
We will continue to review the visiting guidelines over the next 7 days and should any further cases be identified, we will update. We will also be RAT and PCR testing, as needed, the residents until the outbreak is declared over.
It is natural for you to be concerned and anxious at this time. I would like to remind you that our priority is ensuring the safety of our residents and staff within our Home. I will be regularly updating you as this situation progresses, but please feel free to contact our Corporate Office at any time if you require further support on 1300 424 332.
Yours Sincerely

Dear Residents, Families and Staff,
Important COVID – 19 Information
Warrina Homes RACF’s (Ingle Farm, Paradise & Campbelltown)Warrina Homes is pleased to give an update on our COVID -19 visiting recommendations to our three residential aged care facilities, Warrina Crescent, Warrina Park and Warrina Court.
As of tomorrow, 20 June 2023, face masks will no longer be mandatory for staff and visitors to our Homes. They will however be reinstated should a resident test positive to COVID-19, or if advised by SA Health. Masks are available at reception should anyone wish to use them.
20 June 2023 is in line with mandatory 2023 Influenza vaccinations for our staff and volunteers at our Homes. Whilst the Government doesn’t require visitors to be vaccinated against Influenza or COVID-19, we highly recommend vaccinations to protect our residents. Please do not visit if you are feeling unwell, have a temperature or flu-like symptoms.
Our visiting hours remain 10am – 12 noon and then 1.00pm to 4.00pm, every day at all our Homes. Visits outside these times will not be permitted unless prior approval has been granted by Management. All other screening & visiting requirements remain in place including a rapid antigen test on arrival, physically distancing and hand hygiene.
Your ongoing support is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to seeing your smiles at our Homes after such a long time of mask visiting restrictions.
Yours Sincerely
Alysha Rhodes
