Dear Residents, Families and Staff,
Important COVID-19 Information – Visiting at our homes
Warrina Park RACF (Paradise) & Warrina Court RACF (Campbelltown)
We would like to provide an update on the visiting at our homes, Warrina Park and Warrina Court, in response to feedback received from both residents and families.
We are pleased to advise that from Wednesday 3 August 2022, we are going to trial for two weeks, that visitors will be able to come to our homes without having to book an appointment. Visiting is between 10am – 12pm and then 1.30pm – 4pm and for a maximum of 1 hour duration per day with 2 visitors at a time. Please note that visits outside these times will be declined unless prior approval has been granted.
All visits still require the appropriate vaccination screening with proof of 2022 influenza, double dose of COVID plus Booster and a negative Rapid Antigen Test, which the testing will be continued to be done onsite. We ask you to be patient should visitors to the home arrive at the same time for the testing and to ensure your family and friends of are aware of your visits so not to have to be turned away. We have also decided to remove the requirement to wear face shields and googles for both staff & visitors. All other screening & visiting requirements remain in place as per the emergency directives including visits only to the resident’s room, temperature checks, wearing of masks, physically distancing and hand hygiene.
Your support through this ongoing challenge has been greatly appreciated by us all. We will review these revised visiting guidelines after the two weeks. If the status of our sites changes due to a Covid-19 exposure or outbreak, these visiting conditions will be subject to immediate change. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
