Calculate your estimated room costs

This Calculator does not include the Basic Daily Care Fee (your contribution towards care, meals and services). This is the standard charge for every resident in aged care in Australia and is calculated at 85% of the single person Centrelink pension payment.
The Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP) is non-refundable. Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD) is fully refundable. The Maximum Permissible Interest Rate (MPIR) is set by the Australian Government (currently 8.42%, effective from Oct 1st, 2024) and is built into the Calculator.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We say “yes” wherever possible. The only constraints are space and safety.

  • We are fully accredited as an “ageing-in-place” provider. This means that we are able to provide the appropriate level of care for whatever your care requirements are at any time.

  • All residents pay a basic daily care fee which is regulated by the Commonwealth Government. Depending upon your financial circumstances, the Government may also determine that you should pay an additional income-tested fee/means-tested fee.  You may also be required to pay a fully refundable Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD).

  • Before you can enter a Residential Aged Care facility, you will need to be assessed by a Commonwealth Government Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) to determine the level of your initial care needs. Your doctor can arrange to refer you to an ACAT team for this assessment.
