I was invited to join the board of the fledgling Warrina Homes in the early 1970s.
After we had finished building the Reformed Church in Hill Street, people were looking out for a way to serve the community as a Christian church. Many of us came from a Dutch background and had grown used to working together and sharing significant aspects of our lives together.
